Why is community employment important for people with disabilities? Community employment allows individuals to work in the community they live in, just like everyone else. When we integrate people with disabilities into our workplace, we see an increase in staff and customer moral. Pictured above is Jenni who has been an important team member of the fire department. As they attend calls to save lives, Jenni works hard to make sure the department stays clean for them. She truly is one of the team.
