About the Chamber

The Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit membership-based organization that advocates for, and works with, our member businesses. The primary reason that we exist is to do what is necessary to keep Shawano country’s businesses healthy, thus ensuring economic, civic and cultural well-being. We represent 430 businesses and organizations of all sizes throughout Shawano and Menominee Counties. We are not part of local state or federal government, though we do often partner with governments to accomplish economic/community development. We are funded by membership dues as well as non-dues items such as event revenue, sponsorships, and sales of various products and services.
