Caregiving Through the Holidays  

 

November shines a light on caregivers and Alzheimer’s Disease awareness. Mind and Memory Matters, a project of BPDD, is focused on providing outreach and education about the prevalence of dementia among people who have intellectual/developmental disabilities. 

The holidays can often create added stress for families and caregivers. In recognition of National Family Caregivers Month, The Mind and Memory Matters team has created some holiday caregiving tips that can help balance those extra demands while still being allowed to enjoy special occasions with family, friends, and neighbors.
